what if dean had been the one to tell cas he prefers him in a tie? they're on a case, and dean offers cas a hand to pull him up from the floor after taking out a rugaru together. their hands lock and dean's fingers ghost over the inside of cas' wrist. "you know, i miss the tie. looked good on you," dean says. a second later a flush creeps up dean's neck and he gives cas this shy smile before turning away. the very next morning, cas is wearing a tie when dean walks into the kitchen. it takes two mugs of scorching coffee before dean can form any words.
